Last updated: June 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, free audit tool, and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by [CiteGraph / legal entity TBD] ("CiteGraph", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
CiteGraph provides generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI-visibility tools and analysis for API and developer-tool companies, including audits that assess how a website or brand appears in AI-generated answers and search experiences. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Submit domains or content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringe the rights of others;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law;
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful or abusive content.
5. Free Audit Tool
The free audit tool is provided for evaluation and informational purposes. Audit results are estimates based on data available at the time and may be incomplete or change over time. We make no guarantee of any particular outcome, ranking, or AI-visibility result, and you should not rely on audit results as professional advice. By submitting a domain, you represent that you are authorized to request an audit for it.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, content, design, and trademarks, is owned by CiteGraph or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You retain ownership of any content you submit, and you grant us a license to use it as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
7. Disclaimers; No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CITEGRAPH AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR, IF YOU USE ONLY FREE FEATURES, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
